  1. And they should, considering they also have 4.2x the population of the USA. In fact, they should have 4.2x the solar production of the USA, too, or ~1000 TWh already, so really, they’re slackin’.

    India also has about the same population, and they’re 1/10th where they should be.

  2. Last year, 60% of newly installed renewable energy in the world… came from China.

    Here is the total installed capacity in China (2023):

    Solar: 610 GW
    Wind: 440GW
    Hydro: 420 GW

    This year, China will add 70 GW of wind power and 200 GW of solar.

    1 GW = electricity for 300,000 Chinese households for a year!
