This is awful. I came to know Pete via The Greg Terry Experience, and so admired his passion and bravery. Condolences to his team, and to his lovely mother Rose, who visited him just recently. Devastating
This really hurts. My Dad was close with Pete, he sent me his videos every day. I sent him a video to forward to Pete about a year ago and Pete sent me the most lovely voice note back. Just played it now and I’m absolutely devastated. He lived on the frontline everyday, he felt he had no other choice, this is what he was drawn to do. Selfless, brave and unapologetically himself. Thank you Pete, you were meant to be here to celebrate when this is all over 🕊️

Peter left a strong impression on me with his honest, cheerfull and straightforward demeanour. But most of all with his heroic work for a cause he knew was right and just.
