  1. One of my grandmothers made bullets during WW2 in New Zealand. The other served in the royal New Zealand airforce. When the time comes to serve your country you do what you can do

  3. Stereotypes enforced here. Ladies have always helped the lads when it came to wars. Women can get shit done when it comes to it.

  4. Pretty sure this stereotype was broken in the 1940’s yet it still is amazing to see the contributions of the female population of Ukraine to this was effort, both behind and on the lines. They are truly cut from a different cloth
