Don’t get why people are angry at him playing DM for most the game. Tactically, it all went to plan for Belgium and they were even able to put pressure on France and almost score before they did. Unlucky deflection, they did well considering the difference in quality in the two sides, and KDB playing deeper worked.

Lukaku was a joke this game. Idk why this guy starts any game for Belgium at all. Fucking throw him on the bench. Missed crucial chances even in worldcup as well. Not like Belgium had a chance to win then but missed literally sitters. Onana wasn’t great and Lukaku and Carrasco were fucking god awful. It’s better coming of ro16, atleast kdb can rest well.
It’s a shame he and his generation were wasted at the international level
He was actually decent same with Doku but The rest of the team was poor tbh, you can feel the lack of chemistry when you watch Belgium play.
