The first US election debate between US President Joe Biden and his Republican rival Donald Trump has concluded. Myriads of topics including Russia-Ukraine, Israel-Hamas wars, Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, inflation, childcare, climate crisis were debated by the two presidential candidates.
Commenting on Russia-Ukraine war, Trump said, “Biden did nothing to stop Russia. In fact, he encouraged Russia to go into the war.” Hitting back, Biden said Russian President Vladimir Putin is a war criminal and he wants to reestablish the Soviet Empire. While commenting on the Israel Hamas war, Biden was of the stance that Hamas should never be allowed to continue. Trump again hit back at Biden saying if he was in power, he would never let the war go on. Trump emphasized on the money America has been spending to support Israel.
