Viktor Orban has unexpectedly arrived in Kyiv. He will meet with Volodymyr Zelensky. This is the first visit of the pro-Russian politician after the aggressor’s invasion of Ukraine

11. I think he is nervous about losing political support for being a Putinist, so he is trying to do some empty favours to not seem as anti-Ukraine.

    After all the shit both countries have thrown each other’s way, it would be the greatest revenge possible against the Ukrainians. 

14. Chances are Orban sees an opportunity to play statesman and try and make inroads to a peace deal. I don’t see that happening but just because I despise him and his politics doesn’t mean that isnt what he is trying to do. People on the otherside of a conflict can often be involved in trying to end it even when they are sharpening the knife for the other outcome.

15. It would be funny if Russia accidentally bombed something near him (as it happened before with other visitors) and he goes full U-turn and becomes Anti-Russian.
