Apologies for a possibly amateur question. I'm 21 and don't have too much household appliance life experience under my belt.
I have an 8kg condenser dryer and I want to put it in a cabinet (this one – https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/metod-base-cabinet-for-sink-white-askersund-light-ash-effect-s89465915/#content). However, I'm concerned about safety issues with overheating. Right now my dryer is just freestanding, and when it's running I can feel that the side panels get warm. I'm a bit concerned about whether or not it would overheat in a dryer cabinet, but at the same time, that feels like a bit of a stupid concern. The fact that this product exists probably means that it's fine, right?
