  1. From the tables, I can get the Scottish subsample results, but it is a sample of 269, so needs to be taken with a pinch of salt given the MoE — but feel like it’s needed for the ‘to oust the SNP’ figure.

The results are as follows for Scotland (based on a subsample):

    – To get the Tories out: 38%

    – The country needs a change: 14%

    – I agree with their policies: 5%

    – To support the NHS and reduce waiting times: 2%

    – They are the best alternative with a chance of winning: 3%

    – I like my local MP: 2%

    – For a fairer society: 5%

    – I have always voted Labour: 1%

    – They align with my views: 1%

    – I trust the integrity and honesty of the party: 3%

    – They are the lesser of two evils: 2%

    – They care about ordinary people: 1%

    – They are for the working class: 1%

    – They will address the cost of living crisis: 1%

    – For economic stability: 1%

    – To oust the SNP: 15%

    – Keir Starmer’s leadership: 1%

    – Better funding for public services: 1%

    – I don’t trust Rishi Sunak: 1%

    – Other: 2%

    – Not sure: 3%

  2. People need actual change, labour won’t provide it so I honestly wager they have a term before the electorate are tired of more of the same and they lose control of the house/teeter close to it.

Literally 53% of people saying they are only doing it because they don’t like the other guy isn’t a vote of confidence

  3. “I agree with their policies” only 5%. If we add in all the stuff that could be interpreted as broad enthusiasm for what Labour does, we hit like, 20-25% which still isn’t very good.

  4. Replace blue Tories with red Tories. Nothing improves. Surprised Pikachu face.

  5. And the (increasingly few) people voting Tories are mostly doing so to keep Labour out.

Our politicians don’t really need policies when it comes down to this sort of crap.

  6. “Main reason”

I know plenty of people that really like their policies, and the main reason is still “to get the tories out”.

If you changed this so you could choose multiple answers, it would be very different.
