2. But not in the sense of “cost effective”. A Shahed drone costs ~50k$, a Hawk missile ~250k$. Of course you can consider the missiles as already written off. But still, they are precious and should ideally be used for higher value targets.

3. About a year ago, when their delivery was first announced, someone was arguing that they were useless and didn’t even work.

5. TBH shahed drone has the parameters of a WWI (sic!) Biplane bomber. Every post WWII AD system is effective.
