Got a feeling that the little blue things I put around the lettuces weren’t slug pellets after all, but Viagra. Anyone for a skyscraper of salad?

You’re not the only one. Mine are doing tremendously this year 🙂
I left mine to grow out one year, out of curiosity. They get even weirder looking than this.
“It’s a bit hard. But I do like this mayo.”
I hate to be a fun sponge, but I think they’re bolting. If they flower they don’t taste very nice, and sadly, there’s probably no stopping it now. Best bet would be to cut them down almost to the ground, and keep your fingers crossed they send out new leaves from the base.
