  1. Sorry by just because it's an inconvenience to some people what does it mean you get to take it off of a plane because one or two people out of thousands might have an allergy….. That lies with the person with the allergies they should not only eat something that they know 100% without a doubt that has no ingredients are allergic to but if they're not sure they shouldn't be eating it especially in a place where they know have nuts and let's be honest having nuts on a plane is just fine

  2. As someone who has a cousin with a severe allergy to nuts I believe they should not be served at all on planes. Itโ€™s just not worth the risk of potentially killing a passenger. People are saying itโ€™s an inconvenience to stop serving nuts, is it tho? Like there are plenty of other options of foods out there Iโ€™m sure people can cope without for just a few hours.

  3. If you take food allergies seriously then you'd have to ban nearly all meals. I myself am allergic to Pineapple and raw Celery. I personally read everything that is included in the meals. Jack looks old enough to be an adult and able to read.

  4. "Could have died," "Severe allergic reaction," and yet managed to get someone to take a photo of him sitting down upright, calmly using an EpiPen , SELF ADMINISTERED. Sure, perfect life and death crisis right there ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ

  5. Ok but ppl in the Middle East eat A LOT of nuts. Should those allergic carry around their pens or does everyone have to stop eating nuts in their presence? Hmmm

  6. Banning nuts on planes makes sense. As much as I'd like to get rid of our fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists, we're subjecting fellow passengers to too much by putting them on a plane with them.

  7. I agree with you. But actually is a plane a proper place to pounce on food? I think that the major part of responsibility in such cases is on the people themselves. I don't like those toilets for instance so I don't drink much during flights and don't think that I'm that restricted.

  8. The most dangerous part of an anaphylaxis is not the closing of the airway (although thats also very dangerous) but the sudden and sharp drop in blood pressure that can occur. This is called anaphylaxic shock and it's life threatening. The epipen reverses the symptoms of the shock, but it works only 10-15 minutes. After that the anaphylaxis can recur. So its extremely dangerous to have an anaphylaxic response happen in mid-air, where there are limitations on the medical assistance that can be offered.

  9. Another waste of space reality tv contestant who needs to go and get a PROPER job. Didn't he read the menu? It seems 'cashew nuts' wasn't clear enough for him. What a thicko.

  10. Yes. Thing is, if they serve nuts at all on a plane it can trigger this sort of reaction in someone with a severe allergy. Nuts aren't that big of a deal.

  11. It's time for people to learn that parents need to eat nuts before child was born. His system didn't recognize peanut that's why he is allergic. There is no peanut allergy in China or most countries but mostly Americans.

  12. So he is allergic.. doesnt check what he is eating but places the responsibility on someone who has not studied the topic.. nor is it someones responibilty to know of all types of allergic reactions..

Bro was unresponsible and plays the victem card…

Hope next time he wont have a epipen ready..
