Xi Can End Russia’s War in Ukraine With One Call to Putin: Finland

Russia is so dependent on China right now that one phone call from president CI ping uh would solve this crisis if he were to say time to start negotiating peace Russia would be forced to do that they would have no other choice How likely do you think that that phone call would be made I don’t know but I call upon China to do that if China is genuinely interested in peace if China is genuinely interested in harmonious relations between nation states it cannot allow a country like Russia to drive an imperial at the end of the day aggressive and colonial war uh against a independent nation state it needs to protect the international rules which are linked to territorial Integrity uh and sovereignty that is the right thing to do and that would also show leadership from China and I think it would get a lot of Goodwill not only from the global South but also from most countries in the global West

  41. But would China not benefit moreso by letting Russia continue exhausting their military resources and personnel, then later seizing swaithes of territory from Russia's mineral-rich south east?
