Do immigrants help or hinder economies? | The Daily T Podcast

you just need to look at the infinite supply of labor there’s your answer it is basic economics I’m afraid Jonathan afraid there is just a sense of denial amongst the establishment as to the core reason Jonathan well I I I I mean you have to laugh really uh at Richard trying to explain economics to Kamal and me um but it may have escaped his notice of course that while Britain has indeed had the poorest uh investment performance in the G7 for quite a long time um that that is compared indeed to countries which have had in the case of Canada much higher levels of immigration than the UK

  1. They hinder it, they destroy the housing and apartment market and make it harder or impossible for young Americans to obtain a place to live and they create a food crisis and a homelessness crisis and they raise the crime rate and they hate us

  2. G7
UK is in transition after Brexit followed by Covid and Ukraine. Gets better..
G7 land France has huge debt and budgetproblem with EU.
Italy has huge debt, and has received a lot of money from EU during Covid. Lots of costly crime.
Germany is in deep problems with no growth, energyproblems, crime etc.
Canada and USA don't get many extremely costly arabs and Africans, and don't give much much moneyhelp.
    Japan takes only few migrants.
    They all have debt problems.

Read for instance the Grete Brochmann report from Norway.
    Nonwestern massimmigration is extremely costly.
    Denmark have similar reports.
The workers they took from Turkey etc in 70s are now amongst the most criminal.

All G7 countries would have much much much higher growth if they didn't have costly nonwestern immigration but instead could invest more since 1968 in education, tech, automatisation etc etc.
    Chinese are smarter….

  3. ‘Sacrifice your heritage, People and nation for the economy guys!!!!!’

Liberals, socialists and economists have no souls nor connection to there homes or there homeland. They prefer concepts over reality hence why they obsess over globalisation and internationalism instead of their own nation.

  4. I love the argument from authority, which happens to be wrong. OK, let's take him up on the Canada example. Runaway rents, Runaway house prices and also has had 18 months of negative GDP per head… Hmm, sounds very similar, same problems, same cause. At this point, I think the 'experts' are gaslighting us.

  5. Let’s not get bogged down with economics experts, and silly things like evidence. It’s all because of brown people eh!? 🤡

  6. Please note the economist's denial of the basic law of supply and demand. Please note that most mainstream economists now share this denial. It would be the equivalent of most mainstream physicists denying the law of gravity. Madness, sheer madness.

  7. Working age Migrants have a higher employment rate than the native population in the U.K, they also work more hours on average and are more likely to live in multigenerational households. Anyone blaming them for the housing crisis or stealing jobs doesn’t understand what they’re talking about.
People will blame anyone other than the system that allows people to be explored by companies for the absolute lowest pay possible.

  8. The invasion of Britain is disgusting and should be stopped it started off in secret and when the covid came here. No friends of Britain just want cheap labour and don’t forget Mr Blair is behind all this and will be when Starmer gets in.

  9. The immigrants coming to Canada are not illegals and they are coming mostly on special skill visas – major difference, the type of immigrant coming makes all the difference.
