  1. I would say that the helicopter successfully intercepted that drone. Rather like air defense interceptions of incoming missiles with their launcher.

  2. Well, the tails not supposed to fall off for starters

  3. So, they wasted a $23 million FPV helicopter to intercept a drone that costs how much? Interesting tactic.

  4. So, if you should put that in different words. What did the Russian Helicopter do?

  5. So, if 2 chopper and 1 plane are targeting an UAV, what you need to do?

    Put an(or 3) air-air missile on it!!!!

Level 5 UAV: the skymaster unlocked!

  6. AA drones, Ukraine really pushing the limits. Hope we get the video.

  7. That’s not very typical, I would like to make that point.

  8. Well not surprised the Mi-28’s seem to have trouble hitting small drones with the 2A42 autocannon. It was designed more for reliability and area effect than accuracy… Plus I mean, Russian aircrews, yeah…

Intentional collision or not, sounds like the first at least mission kill – for a Ukrainian drone, of an enemy aircraft. 😀

I have seen at least a couple videos of Ukrainian FPV drone pilots trying to score a hit on a Russian helo, but the crew manages to see the drone in time and accelerate away. So maybe this time someone got a hit.
