well I think that um you know it’s got to be said there was the financial crisis the brexit turbulence covid uh war in Ukraine inflation there were only major crises but on the top of it many of our leaders did indeed utilize to the full the art of shooting themselves in the foot um what’s going to happen now is there’s going to be a lot of talk about redefining conservativism finding a new definition of conservativism I don’t think that’s really the problem the problem is really learning how to govern and in today’s complex situations it’s something a lot of leaders have got to do and well we’ll see if sir Kier has anything to teach us or not on that front well I think that um you know it’s got to be said there was the financial
