1. Cars were a great time saver until everybody had one.  Now everyone hates the traffic they’re stuck in, but doesn’t realize they **are** traffic. 

   Living in Seattle, I prefer to take my bike whenever possible because parking is such a headache.  Being free of the congestion is worth it in its own right, even if it had nothing to do with climate, just for quality of life.
