I note that they haven’t even bothered to give an end date. Every time I see a sign like this or roadworks with no hint of any actual work being done, I get all Michael Douglas in “Falling Down”. If you haven’t seen this film, do yourself a favour and watch it ASAP.
Why are they partially blocking the pavement for a notification of some works that don’t start for 5 months? I’d steal the sign on principle.
I know students can be tempted by a traffic cone every now and again, but waking up hungover with this in your room ,doesnt seem like much fun. Or would they view it as a trophy or status symbol of some kind?
If might get stolen, might also resurface afterwards.
