Dumb af for someone who became an exec (edit: worse yet she was a LEGAL executive!). Just yesterday there was that post of the “[life windows](https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/s/zGUnV4lNRM)” where you can anonymously drop off unwanted babies. You don’t have to murder the baby, go to jail and destroy your career (exactly what she was trying to avoid) like a dumb idiot.

As a woman, I genuinely do not understand how some women claim to “not know they are pregnant”.
9 months without a period? Stomach growing? All the other body changes? Hormones raging? Baby kicking inside?
If it really is the case, these women are mentally unfit to be corporate executives or parents.
Her linkedin profile has the quote “do something today you can be proud of tomorrow”.
And no, she wasn’t an executive.
Since there are no German sources it looks like the daily mail took a random linkedin profile for that article.. but maybe nobody wrote about it in Germany with her full name. Just English rage rags

I mean I do not condone her actions. I have just become a father and have a newborn myself and the thought of something happening to him is just horrible.
But I will say that the pressures of pregnancy and motherhood, both from a societal, practical and biological point of view, are insane. Post Partum (also Pre Partum) depression and psychosis are a real thing. Also for men btw.
Getting paranoid about your career and wanting to throw your baby out the window are actually very common thoughts for a lot of new parents. If there is enough support and someone is rooted in reality enough, this stays a thought.
What I’m saying us, aside from jail time this woman needs mental healthcare. a lot of it.
Edit: shoutout to ANYONE who’s become pregnant or a new parent and has thoughts or images of them hurting their baby or themselves, this is actually extremely common. But don’t let it spiral out if control. If you’re struggling, seek support from those trust. You aren’t a bad person, you’re not a bad parent. It’s a common thing and can be dealt with.
