I mean most high to middle income countries are. Russia had largely stabilized the working age population prior to the war through importing large amounts of labor, most from former soviet satellites, but that seems to have been drying up as well since the war started. Just another way that Russia is really shooting themselves in the foot long term with this war, but Putin doesn’t care.
I like how we ignore that Ukraines demographic crisis is arguably worse. Thus making this not matter at all in terms of the war.
