Visited London and accidentally brought a hitchhiker from the Oxfordshire countryside. Let him go and hoping he’s adapted, living his best life in the city

Found a reasonably bushy/covered area so hoping he’s safe from the pigeons

  1. We’ll see a post on r/london soon:
“Is it just me or it’s really hard to make friends in London?
I moved from Oxfordshire recently and I was excited to see what the city has to offer but I’ve been feeling incredibly lonely and it’s a weight on my shoulders. I’ve tried coming out of my shell, but I feel sluggish and I’m missing home.
Is anyone else feeling this way?”

  2. I’m going to assume from this picture that you’re outside the Hong Kong branch of Coral.

  3. Is that why I could hear a snail screaming for the driver to stop?

  4. I always wonder about the insects that I notice fly into the cabin before takeoff on flights. Like one minute you’re a fly minding your own business buzzing around Heathrow, get stuck “indoors” and then when you finally escape you’re in Singapore!

  5. Unbelievable. He came with you on the (correct) assumption that the final destination of this trip was back home.

  6. He knew what he was doing, you’re the one who has to tell his wife and kids back home though.

  7. Fun snail fact: The world’s smallest snail is roughly the same size as the world’s largest bacteria!

  8. New children’s book:
*Lolly the Snail Goes to London*
    Lolly rode on a brolly…
