  1. The video was posted yesterday on the status of this air defense aid fundraising page on Facebook, but the status disappeared after 24 hours and they didn’t repost it on the timeline, so as it’s not possible to give the link to the original post, so I’ll give the page link as the source, maybe they’ll post it on the timeline later

  2. Woah, never would’ve guessed that it sounds like that. That was sicckk

  3. What’s up with the high pitched “charge up” sound prior to the rocket leaving the launcher?

Is that the sound of the rocket engine starting up?

    Wild.

  4. Came here for the gyro spin up sound. Wasn’t disappointed!

New optics might explain the seemingly better performance that Ukraine seems to be having with the system. The Russians consistently seem to miss or the proximity fuse fails to initiate. I wonder if our clever Ukrainian friends are also modifying the proximity fuse

  5. The flight path seems less squirrely than usual. I wonder if the new optics is giving the missile a better lock on little drones?

  6. I’ll never be not amazed by how much these (and other) AA missiles haul ass.

  7. Came of upvote an AFU anti air team, stayed to replenish my fix of listening to Strela-10 happy noises.
