  1. Russia is going to hate this. Threaten to nuke Warsaw now, I suppose.

But hey, Polish air and missile defense teams will get invaluable experience.

  2. Polish Stick Poke…

“I never try anything, I just do it…… wanna try me?”

    🇵🇱 🍁 🇺🇦

  3. That’s a huge deal. It’s essentially saying that Poland’s air defense is going online in defense of Ukraine.

  4. Does this mean that if it’s got a vector in the Polish direction they can knock it out of the sky?

Any missile traveling west can be shot down then.

  5. Wow. I was wondering when this would be coming. They’ve been talking about it for far too long. It’s about time. This is huge for Ukraine…HUGE. Can’t wait to hear russia’s new nuclear threats after they get wind of this. Thank you, Poland! Slava Ukraini!

  6. This sounds great but what range can possibly be reached by Polish sam systems? I just checked PAC3 maximum range and it says only 35km. What else could Poland use?

  7. Some of those missiles can change direction. You can’t be too sure.

  8. Incoming nuclear and total annihilation threats from the russians because that means all the missiles coming from russia 🙂
Grab your popcorn guys and enjoy the show.

  9. Range may be limited but it will protect F16 on a near by base and will free up some ground to air systems to move east.

  10. Couldn’t Russian claim that NATO is attacking Russia technically when Poland shoots down missles?

  11. This is massive.

First thing it’s going to do is change how russia fires their missles. They will not be shooting them towards Poland anymore.

This means that missiles will have less routes to take to their targets.

This will allow Ukraine to focus their own air defense in areas that Poland do no cover.

This is essentially boosting Ukrainian air defense, without actually having to give them more air defense.

Second thing. This will show that Russia can’t do anything about it. They are not going to take out air defense is a NATO country. So once it’s shown that Russia can’t do anything about it, it’ll get expanded in a few months to cover parts of Ukraine airspace.

This is how it’s been this whole war. Stick your toes in the water to test it out…then go full force.

  12. Don’t think anyone should get excited until we see it play out. This feels like something that sounds incredibly optimistic that doesn’t actually result in action.

  13. So Poland will start downing missiles in Ukrainian airspace? Awesome!

  14. Does that mean Polish pilots can fly cover in Ukraine for incoming missiles?
