At least 20 killed in rare daytime Russian attack on Ukraine’s capitol and other cities

some breaking news this morning Russia launched a barrage of missiles in the Ukrainian capital of keev and other cities and what is described as a rare daytime attack at least 20 people were killed and kev’s um main Children’s Hospital was damaged President Vladimir zalinski said Russian forces fired more than 40 missiles Abdul Jalil Abdul rasula with our partners at BBC News has more from keev the sky line behind me was covered with plumes of smoke and Russia used at least 40 missiles to Target cities across Ukraine including the capital Keef as well and we still don’t know how many of those missiles managed to hit their targets we could hear large explosions here in Kiev and it appears that the Ukrainian air air defense systems were engaged and tried to shoot down those missiles uh but some of those missiles tried to change their trajectory as they were trying to hit the targets and mislead and avoid the Ukrainian air defense systems and some of those missiles did manage to get through and hit their targets including the Children’s Hospital in Kev the video show posted on social media shows the destruction inside and outside of the building and some of the Personnel members uh are were reportedly injured during the attack as well other cities across Ukraine uh were also targeted by uh the Russian missiles including the cities of nepro krators K and others and we we are getting reports from Ki that a number of people were injured and killed during the attack on that city as well

At least 20 people were killed and Kyiv’s main children’s hospital was damaged Monday in a Russian attack that saw a barrage of missiles fired at Ukraine’s capital and other cities. BBC News correspondent Abdujalil Abdurasulov joined CBS News with more.

Do you know if the United States would quit giving zelinsky billions that war can stop they're all a bunch of criminals the generals in the army of Ukraine are partying having a good time along with their kids they're not hurting for anything just a few innocent civilians are getting killed every once in awhile to keep the war going

  17. Biden And his administration is a joke. NATO is also to blame. They Ukraine to fight on and invade Russia using US weapons. Did they not think there wouldn’t be any retaliation? Everyone they can’t win and western countries don’t want them to compromise. More deaths and more USA funding creating more inflation in the USA economy.   21. Russia already denounced this attack and said it wasn't them. The missiles were NACMS missiles which are US sponsored. Do not believe anything mainstream media outlets are saying about this conflict.

  22. The footage captured by the Kievan makes it clear that a rocket from the Norwegian NASAMS AFU complex could have fallen on a hospital in the Ukrainian capital.

  26. I hope by now everyone knows that this was another fake news trying to manipulate some sheep here. As the new information trickles in, it looks more and more like the Ukrainian air defense missile actually hit the hospital. Moreover, it is not even the children hospital that beared the brunt of the explotion, but the 3rd Toxicology Ward right next to the children's hospital.  The video that shows the missile about to hit the hospital, the AMRAAM is clearly visible in the footage.  Sadly, it appears that it is the Ukrainian air defense missile supplied by the US that caused this destruction. The pro-ukrainian media has also shown shrapnel inside the hospital.  Th Russian cruise missile does not have shrapnel in the payload. It saddens me to see innocent kids being affected by this war. It is time for all involved parties to set aside their geopolitical agendas and bring this war to an end through diplomatic means.

    It's so sad to see such talented people getting killed in this war
