A lot of things in the British museum are gifted or brought some of it it is spoils of war. But this meem is deeply disingenuous and just shows up the left’s contempt of the West and its history .

If the moon had hit Africa (or Earth in general), we’d have much bigger problems than the British Museum “borrowing” it for a century or two. There probably wouldn’t be any British Museum, or indeed any Africa.
I would argue UK taking finds was a good thing.
Alot of countries have gone through civil wars and alot of these things would have been destroyed because of it.
Many were also gifted because uk helped them but everyone forgets that part.

It shows respect to house an item in a museum for all mankind. And since no culture made the moon, it couldn’t be the property of Africans either.
