Russia will not attend. Zelensky is an ILLEGAL President. His term as president has expired. Constitutionally he has no legal authority to represent Ukraine. Whatever that will be decided by him has no legal binding!!! It is a waste of time!! After all Zelensky is a war criminal!!

Looks like Zelensky is not convince Biden will be re-elected for a 2nd term. Trump plans to end the war in Ukraine if he wins the election. With the recent assassination attempt, Trump's chance of winning has just got a huge boost. At the same time, Putin is gaining more Ukrainian lands along the fronts. If Biden wins, he vows to turn the aids to Ukraine a loan, end the ware on Putin's terms, and no more NATO supports. So yeah, it does not look good for Zelensky right now.

It’s definitely not a peace summit but an arranged circus to tell Russia it’s demand in the presence of Ukraine’s friends, many who Russia considers party to the conflict.
If Ukraine is interested in lasting peace, it needs to open a direct channel through co-friendly countries like Saudi Arabia, China or India even Turkey or Hungary. Then it should take into Account what Russia possibly stands will be because Russia has one of the best diplomatic arsenal in its gloc
