[Fabrizio Romano] Rafa Márquez will leave Barça job next week to accept the proposal from Mexican national team. Márquez will become assistant for Aguirre until 2026 and then lead the national team. Official green light expected soon, as @TUDNMEX has reported.
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined, he should have stayed another year, I’m sure he could get the chance to coach a European team afterwards. Going to the Mexican National Team is going to ruin his career.
This is sooo sooo bad choice. Instead of growing as coach and makin name, he will just burry himself for who know how many years. He did well in Barca, he could stay one more year and than go to some quality European team. But I know shit, maybe this is exactly his dream and I wish him luck.
Dang man. He was growing here and learning but pride comes first especially when you’re in the moment the Mexican National Team is in. If he goes and leads them to success he will be seen as a hero.
Imagine we just have Xavi come back to coach the B team 😂
Who shoud be the next barca b coach? Any suggestions? Maybe mascherano?
I hope he is successful and comes with more experience back to us.
Mexican here. He should have stayed at Barca. Unfortunately i dont see a future with this current Mexican National team. But Rafa Marquez has pride for his country and is a legend as it is. I hope he helps put out fires bruh
I think his 1st assistant Albert Sanchez, Oscar Garcia, Xavi or Albert Capellas should be the candidates to replace him
