  1. I’m not Turkish, nor am I an expert in Turkish politics, so take this with a grain of salt…

    But based on how we saw the West progress in regards to Queer rights, I think Turky is in that rough transitioning period where Queer groups *will* soon be accepted in society…but not without some loud, and sadly violent pushback.

    As the push for progress gets stronger, so to does the pushback, as the older generations fight harder to stop progress. Almost like an wild animal lashing out one more time before it finally dies.

    I think in a generation, Turkey will be much more progressive in regards to Queer rights. Even Erdagon can only do so much before he, and his outdated ideals are out of the picture.
