Eduard Romeu, economic vice-president until March 2024, recently detailed our economic situation, saying that we are at a “healthier than ever” 60% salary mass : income ratio. It had never been this low this century.
Currently our salary mass is great. We still have to carry with the sabotage contracts Bartomeu gave to FDJ and Lenglet. If you replace those two by proper contracts we are one of the lowest spending top teams in Europe.
Ferran at 190k ? That’s a lot for a rotation +bench player.
I still can’t believe we paid that much including the transfer fee for Lewandowski considering his age, fit to our system and probability of decline. Make no mistake he is a great player but paying more over each year for a player depreciating in both ability and value seemed a bad piece of business.
The less said about the Bartemeu signings, the better.
FDJ really is rinsing the club as he pleases. His output deserves 1/5th of that. Are those still deferred wages?

Real Madrid are only paying Mbappe 31m. FDJ and Lewa are looting the club. Imo both should be sold. FDJ will have takers in the PL and we can sell him easily for 75+. Lewa should be shipped to Saudi. Dude is not doing that much on the pitch.

The deferrals skew this out of reason honestly. And without, club would have had trouble surviving.
Summer 2026 and we will be cooking. Old, expensive contracts gone…back FT at the new Nou Camp. The youngsters will have another 2 years of experience. If we are patient and play our cards right we will be in a very good position to be a dominant force in the latter half of this decade.
