Kamala Harris’ stance on Ukraine war in key quotes

All eyes turned toward Vice President Kamala Harris as the likely person to lead the Democratic ticket this fall following U.S. President Joe Biden’s announcement that he would be leaving the 2024 presidential race.

If Harris is officially confirmed as the candidate to take on Republican Donald Trump in November — the Democratic party’s national convention delegates still have to select her as the candidate — and becomes president, the question for Ukraine is what that could mean for the course of the war.

  1. I have long held the belief that Prosecuters have no soul, they could even make Santa Claus out to be the worst in the world. But a soulless valkiriye is exactly who we need to save Humanity right now from the Anti Christ

  2. The majority of Americans support Ukraine's right to sovereignty, even if we argue about the best way to provide active support. Unfortunately our political system is heavily weighted to give minority positions enough power to play spoiler, and even for a minority position to hold ultimate power. And that is frustrating.

  3. I go a little further.
    Make Russia Ukrainian Again!
    Сделано в России, Республике Украина.
    🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 Слава Україні!!! Героям слава!!! 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦

  4. Kamala Harris won't beat Trump. To break the status quo of being the first female president, she would have to be more talented, work harder, and communicate better than male counterparts. When I watch Kamala talk, I don't see confidence. I see awkward vulnerability. Democrats need to hold an open convention like Obama suggested to bring forth the best for the job.

  5. The difference between Harris and Trump are like night and day!! Trump is a lying cheating flimflam con man that is only out for himself and Harris is there for the people and the country!! If I was an American I know who I’d be voting for!! Come on American and do the right thing and vote Harris!!! All the best from the uk 🇬🇧

  6. If I hear unprovoked one more time, I swear I'm going to lose it.
It might be unjust, it might be against the law, but if a man tells you don't for 10 years straight, it is not uprovoked.

  7. Realistically, in a conventional ground war with Russia on it's own border, the West is at a major disadvantage. The longer this goes on, the more it favors Russia. Given Harris' rhetoric, she seems unlikely to be interested in talks. These policies sound "strong", but I think they result in less Ukrainian land mass when the eventual cease fire occurs. If the West is unwilling to accept this, it should negotiate sooner, not later. And if it is never willing to accept this, it will likely have to accept the reappearance of nuclear weapons use on the battlefield.

  8. Even though I am a Trump supporter because he says will end war …Russia must give back territory taken from Ukraine AFTER 2022 says Trump…KAMALA spoke correctly about terrorist Russia

  9. Harris has far more delegates than she needs to secure the nomination. At this point the convention is a formality. As for the election itself–Trump will lose. He can't consolidate support within his own party: his rhetoric is so extreme they've been hemorrhaging moderate voters, he's the only politician I know of to spawn multiple opposition groups within his own party (Republicans Against Trump, the Lincoln Project, the Seneca Project, Country First, the Anti-Psycho-PAC), during the primaries between 20-25% of Republican voters hated Trump so much they voted for Nicki Haley even after she dropped out, and the number of people who bothered watching his acceptance speech dropped from 32 million in 2016 to 20 million in 2024. And he can't attract new voters: his numbers among young people, people of color, women, college graduates, the LGBTQ community and its allies, white suburbanites, and independents, are all varying degrees of bad. And that doesn't even touch on him choosing a running mate that compared him to Hitler and is famous for saying women shouldn't be allowed to divorce abusive husbands, the fact that the majority of Americans are disgusted by the corruption of the Supreme Court–a third of whom Trump appointed, the horror most Americans feel at the idea of Project 2025 being enacted, or the fact that while he's a convicted felon, Kamala Harris is a former federal prosecutor. Elections are a numbers game, and he's lost support since the last time he lost a presidential election. Barring shenanigans, I don't see him getting the votes he'd need to win.

  10. Why would she back down? Why would anyone in NATO and the free world back down against tyrants and murderers. SLAVA UKRAINI ❤️💛💙

  11. Both Kamala and Trump just had a meeting with Netenyahu when they can shake hands with the devil who has committed genocide in such a massive scale Ukraine can never trust either of them with its freedom and safety
