Russia said it scrambled fighter jets to intercept two US military long-range bomber aircraft that approached the Russian border over the Barents Sea in the Arctic. Question for the US military: There being such a hell of a lot of 'International Waters or airspace' to play around in – some of fairly close to the United States – why choose the areas close to Russia's borders? No, it is not enough to say 'because they are international waters or airspace. That is no reason, no excuse, and no purpose. So, let us know the purpose, the reason and the excuse.
