The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the territory of a military airfield in Novofedorovka in the Saki district with an ATACMS, sources in the emergency services of the annexed region told ASTRA. As a result, the ammunition was hit, and a fire broke out. Two servicemen were injured – they received shrapnel wounds.

In addition, an ATACMS missile also hit the location of the Russian air defense 5 km from the village of Shelkovichnoye in the Saki district. As a result, the radar station was destroyed.

In total, according to sources, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck Crimea with 4 ATACMS missiles, two of which were shot down.

In Crimea, at the Saki airfield, an S-300V complex was hit last night.

This complex, consisting of 9S19 type radar, three 9A84 type launchers, one 9A83 type launcher was in an deployed state. It was either operational or was being restored for further use.

Recall, Ukraine, now armed with American-made precision missiles, is for the first time capable of reaching every corner of Crimea — and the missiles are increasingly flying in both directions. It is a new strategic push as Kyiv seeks to raise the cost for Russian occupation forces that have long used the peninsula as a base of operations just off Ukraine’s southern coast. While it is unlikely to have much effect on the front line, Ukraine’s campaign with the long-range version of the Army Tactical Missile Systems, appears meant to force the Kremlin to make difficult choices about where to deploy some of its most valuable air defenses to protect critical military infrastructure. Since the arrival of the ATACMS this spring, the Ukrainian military has claimed to have destroyed or damaged at least 15 Russian long-range air defense systems in Crimea. Among those are the powerful S-300 and S-400 batteries, Moscow’s version of the American Patriot air defense system.

  1. the russian economy is on fire, and not in a good way. inflation is rising, despite high interest rates. here's why, their economy is now a war-economy. companies that used to make consumer goods, now make military ones to use in Ukraine. they have a labour shortage, which is driving up wages, plus the military is making it worse by offering 3x the annual average salary to enlist. That means there is a lot of money in people's pockets, but they have limited goods to spend it on. So all those goods rise in price (basic law of supply and demand). The russian economy is going to implode, it's just a question of when.

  3. "Ukrainian army attacked with ATACMS an airfield in Crimea where fighters were stationed"
    Should be…
Ukrainian army attacked an airfield in Crimea with ATACMS, where Russian fighters were stationed.

  4. Kanal13 sometimes use English quite badly in their video titles.
"Ukrainian army attacked an airfield in Crimea with ATACMS" would read better.

  5. I think you'll see the Ukrainians go into a much more defensive posture, fearing Trump taking power in January. Defense is always much less costly and they know their biggest supporter may walk away. Conversely Putin will go on the offensive, knowing he will likely be able to keep his gains in any US mandated "peace" negotiations.
