Starmer said: ‘Under his [Sunak’s] watch, the last parliament was the first in modern history to leave living standards in a worse place than they found them.’ He accused the previous government of focusing on the ‘horse trading of Westminster politics rather than long-term national interest’ adding that Labour will ‘close the door on it forever’.
Rishi Sunak congratulated the prime minister on his election victory, telling MPs that Labour ‘had successfully tapped into the public’s desire for change,’ adding that his party would hold the government to account to ensure it delivers on the commitments it made to voters.

Keir will do nothing.
Tories and Shunaks are JOKE..
*Head of England's Government as not elected here or in Wales or in N Ireland.
This is Starmer's peak, it's all downhill from here…
So happy Labour are UK Government
Those are news, not the content, that's the clue, of their value.
Starmer.blair Cameron and sunak .. the four Horsemen of Britain's apocalypse
That smile at 1:44 says it all. He never really cared.
All of these 'people' talking from a piece of paper written by a bunch of poorly paid subalterns, and NOT from the heart – THAT is a politician…..
The UK parliament looks more lighthearted than the US Congress.
I’m way out here in the 🇺🇸 but that was a lovely cat 🐈 protecting y’all’s
home..🫶
He can bowl, but can he bat?
Head of unelected government! Starmer is a disgrace and dangerous too
Where's the rest of it?!?
Sunak’s plan B can be a comedian
As he turns the page the script he was given.
1:43 Rishi's face like "bruh, i just bigged you up for a whole minute allow me" 😂
All bluster from Kier. He got battered in the debates and by jove he'll bankrupt the country.
Paying people who can work to do nothing all day is exactly against what the welfare state should be for. It's not wel-fare it's well un-fare
Liebour are the enemy of the British people which will quickly become obvious to even the most uninformed.
Out of 48 million registered voters only 28 million cast and out of that 19 million did not vote Labour. That's potentially 38 million citizens who do not want the current administration. Looks like a government on quicksand.
Sunak has a SOH. Who knew? I hope he and his family find happiness in the future -he certainly hated being PM.
Save Bangladeshi student 🇧🇩
Weak PM
🤣🤣🤣
Opposition Sunak is the most likeable man in politics
What came out of labour's mouth the new Prime Minister was a load of dribble
I've heard it said that the first time Sunak has managed to sound like a statesman is when he was no longer PM. Might be something to it.
Has anyone asked to Starmer if he will go to palestine to talk with their leaders for a solution to peace?
Starmer, the millionaire lawyer looks so happy, with his rictus grin, as he contemplates concreting over the greenbelt, safe in the knowledge that Hampstead Heath on his doorstep won't be built on. A typical Labour hypocrite.
Who do you think the UN leaders are still killing terrorists in Myanmar?????
Instead of protecting the people, they are killing back. You accept the Starndard Army's operations, cover the internet, cut off the news, and cut off the internet. Can't the country that is helping that organization also take action????
👍
Need to reword that title.

This is the second time; the first time was for the election of the Speaker last week.
They are both the same, is shocking to see
Physically on different sides, politically on the same side.
The bright future behind you line was better than David Cameron saying "I was the future once."
Who is Sunak and conservatists ha ha ha ha
This is what political stability looks like
Atleast you have to give him some respect for taking the job of PM during tough times. And he lasted more than Liz Truss.
This isn't the first time though the appeared on different sides when the house chose a speaker
British Politics after the other side wins : Be respectful, accept election results and corporate with the new goverment.
US Republicans after biden wins : Behave uncivilised, reject election results and try to overthrow the democratically elect president.
Starmer the countryside destroyer
Dam humble sunak
