Wahey, it's late, it's Saturday night!

Why are you still up? Off out for a fight? Doing the night shift?

Come on in for a chat.

What food is delicious but a pain to eat?

  1. Hurt my foot after getting it caught at the top of a waterslide, could’ve been much worse though and fucked my knee. Wasn’t too bad yesterday so I dragged myself and the kids around the zoo, but I have paid for it today. Missus is feeling under the weather as well so I’ve had to try and keep the kids occupied on one leg.

Going to drink some cocoa or absinthe before bedtime. Had a romantic evening.

  2. Have written a very very important email. Am now too cowardly to send said email. Staring at computer trying to summon the courage to click send

  3. Youngest has a bug so currently laying in bed with her as she woke up with a temperature again! Have embraced the fact that I am probably going to feel like crap tomorrow as I slept badly last night too…

  4. At the moment, most things are a pain to eat. I have had a lot of dental stuff done, plus my stomach changes its mind about what it will tolerate frequently.

I have had my first “normal” day in a week today. I use quotation marks simply because my normal differs vastly from most people’s. I cleaned up a lot, changed the sheets and washed the sofa blankets, I took my meds, watched some cricket, and eventually forced myself into a shower. Compared to yesterday and every other day during last week, that is pretty fucking good.

I am in pain and wide awake at midnight, but for the first time in while, I don’t wish I were dead.

  5. Just finished a hangover day where I wanted to watch and play horror all throughout. Cheesy vampire film and a great lovecraftian physiological game – still wakes the deep – all in one day.

Game was short, but damn was it great

  6. Questions for you all; if surfing remains an Olympic sport, where would you host that event during the next British Olympics?

I’m watching the surfing now and it’s being held in Tahiti (French territory), 10,000 miles away from Paris, and it got me thinking about whether we’d be able to host it in the British isles.
