We have 4 chickens at home and when I went to check the egg box this morning, after lifting the lid and seeing this absolute unit of an egg I just burst out laughing.
How the hell my chicken managed to create this monster is a mystery- it’s absolutely huge. I doubt It will ever lay again as it will be in shock.
And before anyone says… no. It’s not an ostrich egg. It’s from my chicken!!!!
I wonder how many yolks??

looks like Federal Egg-spress came along.
I’ve heard that chickens can become egg bound (binding) and die, so it would be worth reading up on the symptoms so you can spot it.

Please can you show us when you crack it open? We had one like this once and it was a double yolk. I’ve seen others that had a normal sized egg inside!
Is there another egg inside it? Eggception style?
