Russia “Captures” Ukrainian Settlement In Donetsk, Takes Out Tanks & Depots

Russia claimed control of the settlement of Lozovatskoye in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, while Ukraine reported repelling multiple Russian offensives. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that its forces destroyed two Ukrainian tanks, 12 armoured vehicles, and several howitzers, along with shooting down 10 U.S.-made HIMARS missiles and 81 drones. The Ukrainian General Staff recorded 73 frontline clashes and implemented countermeasures against Russian advances. Intense fighting was reported in the Pokrovsk region, where Russian forces launched 21 attacks by 16:00 local time. Both sides released these updates in official briefings on Saturday.
