If it’s just revenge, I think these guys should be fighting back home (?). I have to think it is strategic one way or another. I guess Wagner has to replace any fighters killed in Mali, so maybe that alone is worth it.
Russia made its presence in Africa by Wagner. Now Wagner is weakened so Ukraine is just taking over Wagner’s place. I’m sure once war is over and Wagner basically not exists anymore (or just in wet dreams of some) Ukraine SF will stay in Africa. Yes, I don’t argue that, they are hunting Wagner.
