Sometimes I feel like ping pong has a bigger gulf between Olympic caliber/professionals and Joe schmoes than any other sport.
I never knew table tennis was a mixed gender sport at the Olympics, TIL. I guess it doesn’t really matter as much as say swimming or boxing since it’s much more about being agile and reacting quickly
