  1. It’s not enough. His victim got life, he should get life.

It’s a lot better than the 3 or 4 years I’ve come to expect though.

  2. He went away, got a metal tool/bar type thing, and came back. There’s clearly intent. It’s murder, surely?

Manslaughter is supposed to be when one loses control isn’t it?

I honestly don’t know what the jury were thinking here.

And as to this fellows reaction – he’s worried about having to avoid the police and change his car again?

I mean this needed a life sentence.

  3. 14 years later he will be out there being a menace to society again. Its simply not enough

  4. Another pumped up, plastic hard man showing his true colours, needs to use a weapon to take on a guy clearly less built than him.

  5. There is undeniably higher instance of particular crimes among certain groups. We aren’t all pretending there isn’t. there just isn’t a simple solution

  6. I know this guy is a shithead but this is also a good reminder to not respond to arseholes in an aggressive manner unless necessary. You never know which person you stick the fingers up at cos they beep at you is a psycho with a self esteem problem

  7. Can we all just take a second to calm down and acknowledge this guy is hot?!!

  8. A lot of misconceptions here. Murder only requires intent to cause serious harm, it does not require pre-meditation or intent to kill. Mcintyre was charged with murder but the jury dismissed that charge and found him guilty of manslaughter. In these cases the juries are instructed to only consider the manslaughter charge if they find the defendant not guilty of murder.
