Looking for the best nursery or care home in your area?

Not going to pretend this isn't self promotion but I genuinely thought the people of the sub might find this useful.

I've posted here a few times – I'm a data journalist, and we just launched tools looking at the Scottish care sector. You can look up nurseries/childminders/care homes in your area and see how their recent inspection grades compare to the rest of the services in the area, as well as seeing at a glance whether there have been any upheld complaints.

Something you can't do on the regulators website without searching for every individual service and looking through inspection reports or digging through spreadsheets.

Our data will update automatically once a month when new data is released by the regulator and we're also tracking a bunch of metrics looking at the sector as a whole (like the fairly dramatic decline in childminders across Scotland).
