  1. This is funny because TV3 got a license to broadcast the games but their IT department is run by a single gerbil, so nothing works.

  2. We (Lithuanians) had a non-commercial broadcaster LRT, but these idiots paid enormous amounts of money for a license. On the first day, they recorded everything on a phone, and allegedly lost a license; now they are pirating the stream from other sources.

This is the worst Olympic games live stream I have ever seen. I wish we would never see this commercial TV streaming Olympics ever again.

  3. Hold the Philippines. Their logo is covered in white. Screen burn on your TV is imminent.

    EDIT: Wait, hold on.

  4. This isn’t the first and probably not the last time TV3 have demonstrated their incompetence in broadcasting the Olympics. Yesterday they did “studio” segments (2 commentators with desk standing in front of the actual broadcast) during the swimming competition. The screen in the background was cropped to hide the watermark of another broadcaster (probably Eurosport as well), and muted the audio (and replaced it with background music lol). Not only did they crop out the watermark, but they also cropped out the first lane, so you couldn’t see that Richards got 2nd place in Men’s 200m Freestyle, until one of the commentators said it.

Another fun one was when the commentators said something like “as you just saw”, even though the people watching at home didn’t see it, because there was a commercial.

There’s even more, but I won’t bother listing them all.
