Isn’t it weird how poorly China did? I was just home on lunch with the TV on, and was very surprised to see them not being in a medal position. Did something happen that I missed? I always remember it being a strong competition between the USA and China, just like the men’s.

Proud of the italian girls, they really delivered.
I love that womens gymnastics have gotten more “explosive”. Like strength and hight. Compared to the more.. “elegant” boring stuff from the 80s lol. Its just more interesting to look at when they fly over everything in a triple shot Espressochenko.

Fun fact: Simone Biles has a special maneuver named after her called “The Biles.” That maneuver? Winning a gold medal.

Jordan Chiles was amazing. I loved her energy. Happy for them and looking forward to the individuals.
After Biles caught hell for sitting out the last Olympics, I’m glad she was able to shut the haters the fuck up.

Fantastic to watch. Really in awe of the USA team. Gutted for Team GB getting in just at 4th – that 3rd place was just there but they did a fantastic job.
They need to test Simone Biles. Not for dopping tho, but to see if she’s actually human?????! She’s the GOAT!!

Edit : Btw, unrelated fashion comment, but Brazil leotard? (Idk the official word) was EVERYTHING. Even my boyfriend said it was the most beautiful uniform he has ever seen!! Made us forget the opening ceremony uniform😅 lmaoo
Congrats to the US team, they had such solid performances! Also, Biles is otherworldly, can’t wait to see her in the apparatus finals where she will be doing her best, today it was clear she toned it down a bit (probably to avoid any injury).

Congrats to the Brazilian team who made history today! Can’t wait to see Rebecca Andrade in the finals!
And last but not least, congrats to the young Romanian team, we are so proud of them for making such a comeback and bringing Romanian gymnastics back into the spotlight! I am hoping to seeing more of them in the future!
