I live on East Coast and suspect there’s a lot here I don’t understand.
These fires come every summer. Why aren’t the local homeowners and fire departments taking precautions? Like … sprinklers in the yards and on the roof? Firebreaks every few miles?
This is not sent in a negative tone. Genuinely curious. Only thing I can imagine, it must be such large amounts of land that it’s not practical? I feel sure I’d be trying to install sprinklers on my land. But no idea if that would help?
