Russian President Putin Issues Nuclear Threat over US’ Announcement | Vantage with Palki Sharma

Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a nuclear warning. He repeated an earlier warning that Russia could resume the production of mid-range nuclear weapons if the United States deploys its missiles in Germany. Putin made the statement during a speech on the Russian Navy Day in St. Petersburg on July 28. This comes after the US said it will deploy long-range fire capabilities in Germany from 2026. During the speech, Putin said the US had risked triggering a Cold War-style missile crisis with the German announcement. “This situation is reminiscent of the events of the Cold War related to the deployment of American medium-range Pershing missiles in Europe,” he said.

  1. It's stupid to issue nuclear threats to another nuclear country. No one wins. The innocents are always the collateral damage. Just evil.

  2. Jaishankar is making a mistake. He should make peace with China who will be a peaceful partner. The US is war machine. More wars. More deaths by the US to maintain US hedgemoney

  3. America has been involved with G.B. since World War Two. For this and ALL the fallen I am immensely proud and humbled by those Americans who came into our war against a hideous regime – HITLER giving their precious lives helping a tiny island Great Britain and the rest of Europe.
Russia it would appear are now in cahoots with North Korea. Ukraine has paid a huge bloody price in forbidding the Russian’s from entering THEIR country. I hope that FORTUNE favours the brave- the Ukrainian’s have fought tooth and nail to STAY away from Putin. Please keep that DESPOT PUTIN firmly under wraps. Put a lid on him. Permanently, by The Grace of God.
    Best,
