You get a small soda , McChicken small fries and 4 PC nugget for just $5….that’s not enough food man
The meal is about what all those items together would have cost before the pandemic but I think the problem isn’t really the price of that meal it’s that most people have moved to the point where they don’t think of McDonald’s as a good option. It will take more than one decent menu item to lure back customers.

Sorry McDonald’s. You lost your way. You used to be the go-to poor man’s quick bite. Made your profits in value. Over the years. You jacked up profits. Funnelled them into executive pay and stock buybacks. Repressed workers pay. And cut staff. Lowered quality. And portions.
And now once the vast majority of your user base has found other sources of affordable food. Your surprised? All that executive pay and you did not see an eroding foundation?
Sorry. You lost me when you cut a slice of cheese in half to save a fraction of a cent on a cheese burger. That contained less mead than a bug. And tried to sell it as a investor bonus moment.
So ya. Sorry you over played your hand. And now you can cut off the cancer and lower your “Top Line” or continue to walk head first into that clearly visible low bar. Get your house in order. Or let it burn. But it looks like your user base is drying up fast.
Boycott McDonald’s.
Even if they lower prices to a fair value, still boycott. An example must be made to corporate America that the consumer will not be taken advantage of for profit.
I am banning McDonald’s from my spending for life. I will never again spend any money at McDonald’s. Never again. I urge anyone reading this to join. Show corporations that they need us way more than we need them.

Well I won’t be getting either of my kids to sign off on 4 nuggets so….probably not an option.
Family sit-down restaurants offer high-quality to-go deals at lower prices compared to most fast food options. The only advantage of fast food places is that they have a drive-through. However, if a customer is willing to park, the staff at a full-service restaurant will bring the food to their car.
All of these companies have become greedy. I hope the consequences hurt their same-store sales and customer loyalty.
To me the problem with McDonald’s is that it is a hamburger joint but they don’t have any edible adult sized hamburgers.
Is there more substance in the cash itself, meaning if I literally eat the money, will I be better off?
I broke the fast food habit. I’m not going back, it’s a waste of even $5 to eat their garbage

…it’s not even 5 dollars anymore, I was there a few weeks ago trying to get this and it was already raised to 6$
I think they need to spread the info more until these corporations are really hurting
