I’ve never even used one until it has run out, I’ve always seemed to lose them after a very short time
I actually sell the refills for these, and you would be surprised how many people buy them
I remember doing my A-levels 10 years ago and going into the maths teachers office to see these and a load of board markers sat in the refil pots.
I’m a teacher and I just bin them. Which…given our low supply budgets probably isn’t the best idea.
I tried to recharge mine once but couldn’t find how to plug it in
They’re refillable?!
No, although I would like to highlight the fact that they are rechargeable which is great for the environment. Really adds some green credentials!
Since records began
Probably the same people who have taken a broken bag-for-life to the supermarket and got it replaced
Wait what. How do you refill them??
Not these but a work colleague has a refillable whiteboard marker pen. Which is never used for whiteboards and only labelling our Teams milk bottle.
Blown my mind
Bloody hell, you can refill them?!
Used to take the ink cartridge out and it was the perfect size for a 3 skin spliff.
Thanks for highlighting this, had no idea.
I’m thinking more about if anyone has ever actually used an entire highlighter. I’m in college now and I’ve been using the same highlighter since I was in like Year 8.
My grandma used to have a bunch of the refillable cartridges. Kinda cigarette shaped and wrapped in clear plastic.
What?! I’ve worked for some cheap arse companies in my time, and not once has anyone ever suggested refilling the highlighters. I can’t believe this is a thing.
The bigger challenge is managing to keep a highlighter long enough to need a refill. “Can I borrow your highlighter” is universally understood to mean “you will never see this again”.
Last time I picked up a pack of highlighters they were 23 highlighters for £20.
And 20 refill inks for £19.
So yeah just no point really.
damn man, those thing never dried out easily, I’ve some of them dated to 10y yet they work like charm.

I thought it was a hipster vape.
Rechargeable? USB-C?
I’ve literally never seen highlighter ink for sale
I had no idea you could refill them.
Yes way back in the 90’s. You couldn’t do them more than once or twice because the tips would get wrecked and I’m not sure if they sold replacements.
