Personal opinion: this footage has the first place on my POV list of this war, the landing under fire from machine guns and artillery along with the chaos when leaving the IFV reminds us of the horrors of war and gives us a slight idea of what it was like to disembark in D-Day under heavy machine gun and artillery fire.
I held my breath and had anxiety attacks watching it for the first time, surviving this type of situation leaves invisible but painful marks on the memory.
Hell of a lot less chaotic and more organized than the Russians when the same shit happens.
Worse case scenario during an assault. Your entire squad gets sprayed before even leaving the APC.
These people are so fucking brave it’s commendable in every respect
To be honest as rough as this is I have to say it’s interesting to see that the vehicle itself held up and didn’t go full fireball.
Did they run over that guy? Was that him screaming? Alternatively he was hit after dismounting, or it was timed strangely so that it looked like he got clipped while someone inside took a hit. Damn
Did the IFV start to reverse there in the first seconds when they started disembsrking, driving over the first soldier to get out?
Hope they all survived
This is a great example of what can go wrong during a dismount, and how to course-correct. Despite the first dismount failing, they repositioned and went out an alternate exit to get on the X. Good leadership and good training in action.

Maybe its just me but this is by far the most war is hell video I have seen since it begun. Shitty expression but I don’t really know how else to describe it.
Makes you really appreciate the total luxury of peace.
Driving right up to enemy fire, opening the door and not dismounting… What could go wrong?

It’s not always going to go Ukraines way sadly. Only real option here is to get out of the IFV as fast as possible. Even then…worst case right here. Looked like that IFV was zeroed in on from the get go.

I just think this is what is actually happening in all of those videos with the goofy rock music playing when we watch Russian vehicles get blown to shit that we watch so nonchalantly meanwhile, the actual people inside of the vehicles are going through actual hell

What happened to the first guy dismounted
Throwing in the muffling and ear ringing sound effects was a fair inclusion. I almost didn’t catch it. Really gets the point across.
Wonder what happened to the only guy who left on the first dismount
Is it normal to have the ramp facing the fire?

Dismounted infantry/ mechanized infantry/ Panzergrenadier is the worst possible frontline infantry job in the 21st century. It only takes an open hatch and a skilled drone pilot to turn that apc into a hot pot.

Pretty chaotic and crazy footage.
