The Ukrainian Navy’s second Turkish-built corvette, Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi (F-212), was launched today at RMK Marine shipyard in Istanbul.
The launching ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including First Lady Olena Zelenska, Defense Minister Rustem Umierov, and Navy Commander Oleksii Neizhpapa.
This corvette, named in March 2024, follows the first vessel, Hetman Ivan Mazepa, which began sea trials earlier this year.
