Putin’s losses at “industrial scale” and “unsustainable”, says Hamish de Bretton-Gordon | Frontline

“I shouldn’t think there’s virtually a prison in Russia with any people in it because they’re all at the front.”

Putin’s loses are “industrial scale” and “unsustainable”, say Col. Hamish de Bretton-Gordon.

  1. Who is the most dangerous at the moment. Russia? Iran? China? North Korea? Nope. Its the man in the scruffy green shirt. And about time he washed it.

  2. The poor little interviewer kept repeating Putins' talking points about nuclear attack. Putin already owns Britain. He achieved Brexit, has mrmber in both the Commons and the Lord's, and is flooding England with migrants.

  3. This invasion of Ukraine is nothing else but Putin being pushed by his oligarchs to expand their pillaging of Russia and Ukraine….Putin seems powerful but he is a puppet of the oligarchs….

It is the same story in America, Trump is the planted puppet of the right wing billionaires who want to become American oligarchs….It is the same playbook, finding a useful idiot with no principles, no loyalty, a diagnosed psychopath with a narcissistic disorder and absolutely no intellect….

  4. Hamish never talks about how many Ukrainians are being killed in this daft war. He has been saying for years its not sustainable for the Russians. If history teaches anything when they believe its existential they chucked 20 million bodies into a scrap. Hamish is nuts.

  5. Although I tend to believe that Putin and his cronies would probably all be in jail in any european country or the USA. The fact that they hold the power in Russia is dangerous. They can't afford to lose or they lose everything. The bolshevik revolution was spurred on largely because of heavy Russian losses during WWI. If the Olympics train sabotage is Russian out of sour grapes, complete loss could bring much worse reactions like Nukes. Somehow I don't think the oligarchs are really into self sacrifice. Sacrifice is for the other guy. Putin as a kid grew up in the Russian 50's when the country was rebuilding after the devastation of WWII. He may be nostalgic for the patriotic glory days but it is a nostalgia for the tough times he could only hear about. How generous do you think he'd be if faced with utter ruin?
I'm not sure how generous anyone here in the USA would be in the face of ruin either? We have people shooting up shopping centers and schools just because they are miffed about something.

BTW – The Ukrainians are probably suffering heavy looses too but no mention of those? I can't gloat over the damage they suffer. Only someone with meat for brains and a pig for a heart could.

  6. It always say Putin lost but they are still fighting ? The war should had stopped by now . Watch out when defeated in battleground he bombs civilian infrastructures …❤from USA

  7. Times Radio Production Team: Please equalize the volume output of the host and the interviewee. As it stands, the listener must cycle back and forth between the two. When the sound is sufficiently high to hear the host's words, the guest's observations begin with a loud blast. When the volume level is adjusted for the guest, the viewer must backtrack the player then increase the volume — unless he is a lip reader, which most of us are not — to hear the host. Thank you for your kind consideration.

  8. Synchronisation and Sophistication of Paris attacks??? Ridiculous!!
Maybe Russia, yes, and it had huge effect, but it was three fires set (forth one failed) to signal boxes outside of Paris that aren't secret or high security sites. Anyone with any interest in these trains could locate many such sites. Doesn't need the backing of a foreign Government to carry this out! Just four people who could light a fire and TELL THE TIME!

  9. Putin admires Stalin, and he attempts to rehabilitate him. The West has no response to this. There is no understanding or reaching the Russian "mind". It is bizarre and barbaric.
