Welsh record label to digitise entire catalogue of 26,000 recordings



For 55 years, the record label Sain, which is based in the north-west Wales village of Llandwrog, has been behind some of the most important Welsh-language music, promoting genres as diverse as pop, hip-hop, folk and classical.

  1. This announcement coincides with the anniversary of the anniversary of the Tryweryn Bill; Sain’s first single was Dwr, a protest song about Capel Celyn.

  2. Does this mean the whole catalog will go on the likes of Apple Music (he asks hopefully)?
