This is why Aldi has such a small variety of options. Most people when given a lot of options get overwhelmed and struggle to decide, as a comfort people then gravitate to what they know they like instead of trying something new. By only stocking the most popular brands and their own Aldi saves money because people are more likely to go for the brand that is more familiar to them and not a more obscure brand.
